It is driven by an unknown driver who seems to be involved in some shady activities and has connections to the crime syndicate. The Group 10 Cab is a black taxi cab with a yellow stripe and a number 10 on its roof.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the game is the Group 10 Cab, a mysterious vehicle that appears in some of the cutscenes and missions. The game also features a variety of cars, races, and locations, as well as an all-new game engine that allows the player to pull off amazing moves for the ultimate driving edge. The game features an action-packed story of pursuit and betrayal, where the player takes on the role of an undercover cop who infiltrates and takes down an international crime syndicate.

Need for Speed: Undercover is a racing video game that was released in 2008 by Electronic Arts. SpecialK requires that the exe be 4g patched, otherwise it crashes before loading screen.Need for Speed: Undercover - The Group 10 Cab Mystery ThirteenAG's fix uses a wrapper so it'll be saved in your documents folder if enabled.Ħ4bit isn't the issue, without elevation, this game writes into the registry virtualstore location, this location isnt available to games launched with XP compatibility, which is a recommended way to improve performance for the 1.0.1.18 copy (but is not possible with specialk spoofing the core count) The settings are stored in the registry, and it might cause issues with 64-bit OS. It's highly recommended you ThirteenAG's fix when it comes to unable to save settings for UC. The game obviously doesn't know about a 64bit Windows. I haven't noticed that many bugs except being unable to save settings - which the Steam version also features prominently and requires a small registry hack. This 1.0.1.17 conversion has neither the Framerate issues, or Logical core issue that 1.0.1.18/1.2.1.1 has.

Secondly, PCGW has a download for the 1.0.1.17 version that can be used to convert steam 1.0.0.1 and origin 1.2.1.1 to 1.0.1.17 (i had issues downgrading steam 1.0.1.18 patched). But it crashes on origin version due to it using the most updated version, the steam version was luckily, never updated.įirst things first, its not a 4 core bug, the origin and 1.0.1.18 patched steam copies can boot with up to 10 logical cores enabled or spoofed via SpecialK (maybe even 11, i didn't test), 12+ logical cores isn't possible though. It's not worth playing it just for the challenge series, which is the only benefit of this update.ĮDIT: The Steam version doesn't have the 4 core bug. Even if you disable HT so the game doesn't think it goes above 8 cores (or 4c 4t) The amount of bugs that version has is insane.
